Incumbent shows competency of all aspencts of day-to-day office functioning in Hospice. Acts as a liaison between patient/family, hospital personnel and staff. Supports supervisor and admissions nurse, and performs all accounts payable duties. Incumbent answers phones and processes confidential information.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High school diploma/GED required.
Over 6 months to 1 year of secretarial duties within the department required.
Over 6 months to 1 year of computer input, Windows and report writer required.
Demonstrated written communication skills required.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
Demonstrated analytical skills required.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills required.
Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills required.
