Responsibilities

The manager of Patient Registration plans, directs, supervises, coordinates and monitors patient registration policies and procedures for all inpatient and outpatient care on a continuous basis to provide safe and expedient care for the patient. The manager also serves as a liaison with physicians, nursing and ancillary departments to continually provide quality care during the scheduling and registration process. This position also manages Central Scheduling, including all of the ancillary departments' outpatient appointments. Includes insurance verification, pre-cert verification, co-pay validation and out-of-pocket estimation.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma/GED and over 3 years to 5 years of hospital patient registration experience required

Or

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration or similar field of study and over 1 year to 3 years of hospital patient registration experience preferred.
