Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Housekeeping Aide performs housekeeping duties to maintain the hospital in an orderly, safe and sanitary condition, which includes cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, offices, restrooms and public areas.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Over 6 months to 1 year of general housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of infection control and universal precautions preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
• Effective interpersonal skills required.
• Self-directed required.
