Responsibilities

The HR Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level with a focus on employee relations and works closely with HR management in supporting employee relations, training and development, and HR systems. Serves as a resource for employees and management on policy interpretation, employee relations and performance management.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field of study and over 3 to 5 years experience in the human resources field required.

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills required.
  • Develops and delivers effective presentations required.
  • Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality required.
  • Effectively coaches and delivers constructive feedback required.
  • Effectively manages conflict required.
  • Ability to make and implement decisions required.
  • Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills required.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions required.
  • Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities required.
  • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.

 

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP upon hire preferred.
