The Phlebotomist obtains and processes a variety of different types of specimens of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics according to established procedures, in order to provide the laboratory technical staff with materials for analysis.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High school diploma/GED required.
Completion of a phlebotomy certification program required.
Over 1 year to 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Effective interpersonal skills required.
Ability to work as part of a team required.
Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality required.
Excellent organizational skills required.
