Grand View Urgent Care opened its first location in Kulpsville in October 2016 and has opened its newest location in Chalfont on October 30, 2017. Grand View Urgent Care will be opening its third location in December 2017 in Quakertown, PA.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer-focused approach for all patients in clean, new Urgent Care Center(s).
  • Demonstrates and models positive behaviors and values established by Grand View Health.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills related to a clinical healthcare environment.
  • Provides outstanding customer service to all patients and their family members.
  • Ability to work in a positive manner within a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
  • Provides direct patient care to include, but not limited to, physical examinations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment.
  • Performs office procedures to include, but not limited to, I&D, splinting, suturing, infection management and wound care.
  • Documents patient-related items within practice EMR. Works on MediTech 6.1 EMR.
  • Communicates findings with patients related to test results, post visit care and additional information regarding medical care.
  • Prescribes pharmaceutical/medications, equipment and treatment regimens appropriate for patient's individual care.
  • Orders patient-related diagnostic test(s) such as, but not limited to, x-rays, EKG and laboratory tests. Provides test interpretation regarding results as they relate to normal levels.
  • Assists with the direction of support staff.
  • Supervises Advanced Practice Providers as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
  • Current medical license for the Commonwealth of PA.
  • Active/unrestricted DEA license.
  • One year post-residency experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Urgent Care.
  • Board-certified in Emergency Medicine and/or Family Medicine.
  • Must be able to treat patients of all ages.
  • Knowledge of integrated EMR system.

Work Setting: Clinical/office/direct patient care. Noise level is moderate. Potential for exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens. Requires travel to other centers within 15 miles, ability to stand and sit for up to 8 hours at a time (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to patient care/clinical setting, and ability to lift 75 lbs. without modifications or assistance.
