Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room develops patient care standards, assesses the health needs of patients and plans, implements and evaluates care for surgical patients. This level utilizes specialized knowledge and skills for direct patient care, teaching patients and staff, and evaluating the clinical performance of nursing personnel. Acts as a resource for all levels in the clinical area.
 

This role is Monday-Thursday, 11am-9:30pm with a weekend rotation. There is a call rotation of 1-2 nights per month and 1 out of 4 weekends.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1 to 3 years of perioperative nursing required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing minimum; BSN preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse in PA – licensed, upon hire, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
• RN Perioperative Certification upon hire preferred.
