Cashier - Food and Nutrition Services
Part Time, Days, Benefits-Eligible - 2 shifts during week, 6am-2:30pm or 11am-7:30pm, every other weekend, every other holiday

Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the department managers, the Cashier operates a cash register; receives payments of cash, checks and charges from customers or employees for goods or services; makes change; and issues receipts or tickets to customers. The Cashier performs a variety of routine tasks in the kitchen, tray line and related areas according to standard practices and procedures in order to maintain a safe, efficient and sanitary work environment. The Cashier is responsible for filling all food/beverage requisitions received from patient service areas in an accurate and timely manner in order to assist in maintaining quality patient care.Schedule: Two shifts during the week, 6:00am–2:30pm and 11:00am–7:30pm, every other weekend, every other holiday.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- High school diploma/GED required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to listen to others.
- Demonstrated written communication skills.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to identify inferior products and unsafe equipment.
- Ability to follow portion controls using appropriate utensils.
- Utilizes standardized recipes.
