The Clinical Anaylst is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the EMR system; educating customers to utilize functionality more effectively; and supporting implementation, testing, follow-up of support issues, core group training and data conversion. The Clinical Analyst's other responsibilities may involve participation in the implementation of site-specific initiatives, project management, vendor management, education, conversions, and understanding of and participation in process redesign. They assist in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
The Clinical Analyst is also responsible for software planning, configuration, designing, testing, implementing, supporting and maintaining all clinical/ancillary applications, including Nursing (PCS), provider (PCM), Lab, Imaging (ITS) scheduling, Surgical (SUR), Emergency (EDM) and patient portal (PHM) for both acute and ambulatory systems. Responsible for the following teams: Nursing, Providers, Case Management, Quality, Lab, Imaging, ED, practices, Pharmacy support and any other related modules and functions, as well as Regulatory reporting and interoperability.
