The Cytology Technologist performs a variety of tests, procedures, microscopic evaluations and related duties. The Cytology Technologist will perfom these tasks while following established practices and standards in order to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
This Cytology Technologist position is per diem, 7:00am-3:30pm (some flexibility exists).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or certificate from an approved school of cytotechnology required.
3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
Must have current experience with Rapid On-Site Adequacy Evaluation.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATONS:
ASCP certification required.
