Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health of Grand View Health's patients by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician. The advanced practice provider will assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; and obtaining, updating and studying medical histories. The APP will see, treat, assess and diagnose patients of all ages.Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Master's degree Physician Assistant.
- Certified Physician Assistant.
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner – Family.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to make quality, independent decisions required.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
- Effective interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work as part of a team required.
- Instills commitment to organizational goals required.

- Possesses strong technical aptitude required.
- Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems required.
- MEDITECH EMR experience a plus, but will train.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Physician Assistant – PA, licensed upon hire, required.
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner – PA licensed upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
