Responsibilities

• Conducts taste and temperature panel for cafeteria and patient tray line for each meal according to established criteria to ensure quality product for service.
• Conducts meal rounds and test trays according to established criteria to ensure quality service.
• Facilitates and participates in quality teams as appropriate.
• Uses hospital, Wood Company and department policy and procedures, standards and quality improvement to ensure customers receive quality food and service.
• Assists with data collection and summarization of quarterly patient satisfaction and semiannual patient satisfaction surveys.
• Completes assigned quality process and improvement projects as part of the department Quality Processing and Improvement plan.
• Implements Environment of Care criteria, including meetings, inspections and action to provide a safe working environment.
• Completes daily sanitation inspection according to established criteria to ensure a clean and sanitary workplace.
