Full Time, 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing customer service support for all GVH employees, management, volunteers, physicians and all other guests. The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Senior HR Director and Team.

Essential Functions:
  • First point of contact for HR-related concerns.
  • Responsible for on-boarding of all new hires.
  • Performs administrative work, including scheduling, maintaining files and sorting mail, for the Human Resources department.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes employment verifications.
  • Maintains ID badge system.
  • Coordinates hospital-wide events (Benefits Fair, Hospital Week).
  • Assists with flu program.
  • Assists with various special projects.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma/GED and over 6 months to 1 year of administrative experience required.
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar field of study preferred.

  • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems.
