Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures Technologist
Part Time, Days, Benefits-Eligible - 7am-9am start time, 7.5-hour shifts, 3 days/week, Mon-Fri. On-call is every 3rd week plus weekend. Will rotate in both general Radiology & IR.

The Interventional Radiology Tech performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The Interventional Radiology Tech must be competent to perform multiple types of imaging, including fluoro and X-ray, involving emergency room patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients.
Demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served.
High familiarity with all interventional procedures, including ultrasound and CAT scan-guided studies.
Good technical and communication skills required.
The Special Procedures Tech must have the ability to work with all levels from staff to physicians.
Ability to triage quickly in a fast-paced work environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
Over 6 months to 1 year in the interventional field required.
Associate's degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and over 1 to 3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred.
Radiological Technologist, certified upon hire, required.
