Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Technologist
Full Time, Variable - Mon & Tues, 11:30am-10pm; Thurs & Fri, 7:30am-6pm

Responsibilities
The MRI Technologist performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The MRI Technologist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served. Graduate of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program. The MRI Technologist must be competent to perform multiple types of imaging, including fluoro, X-ray, mammography and DEXA, involving Emergency Room Patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients. Good technical and communication skills required. Ability to work with all levels from staff to physicians. Ability to triage quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program required.

Associate's degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and over 1 to 3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

MRI Tech, certified upon hire, required.

BLS-certified within two weeks of hire.
