Responsibilities
The Nuclear Medicine Tech performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The Nuclear Medicine Tech demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served. Graduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program. Acceptable certifications include ARRT and CNMT. Competent to perform multiple types of nuclear imaging procedures involving emergency room patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients. Good technical and communication skills required. Ability to work with all levels from staff to physicians. Ability to triage quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and over 6 months to 1 year of nuclear medicine experience required.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Nuclear Med Technologist certification upon hire required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
