Responsibilities

The Office Manager is responsible for coordinating the daily operations and activities of the practice as assigned to ensure quality patient care for the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.

Job Duties Include:
  • Determining annual goals of practice in consultation with executive leadership and preparing/monitoring budget performance. Working with executive leadership to develop and implement strategies for achievement of practice goals.
  • Recruiting, developing and managing clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure high performance and continued professional improvement.
  • Evaluating staff job performance and providing feedback as needed.
  • Reviewing and improving practice systems to ensure smooth and efficient office flow in a risk-mitigated environment that promotes the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
  • Ensuring that clinic building, offices and equipment are maintained in a state of readiness for use by patients and staff.
  • Providing data for financial and statistical purposes, including reviewing invoices and statements.
  • Assisting in the implementation of medical support systems and procedures.
  • Managing all medical aspects of the medical practice to ensure quality patient care for the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient.
  • Identifying and resolving operational problems.
     

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Over 3 to 5 years of office management experience, including 1 year in a healthcare organization, required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpretation of complex statistical data.
  • Ability to make quality, independent decisions.
  • Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead/manage others.
