Under general direction, the Patient Transport transfers infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients from one area of the hospital to another in a safe and efficient manner. The Patient Transport assists in the collection, cleaning and routine maintenance of specific equipment. The Patient Transport ensures that departments within the hospital have supplies and equipment needed by reallocating as requested and returning equipment to its department of origin. The Patient Transport assists with patient care departmental needs to ensure that environment is kept neat and orderly and that hallways are clear of supplies and equipment and in compliance with regulatory agencies' guidelines.
One 12 hour shift per week 7pm-7:30 am (24 hours biweekly)
Required weekend rotation:Every other
Required holiday rotation: Every third
