Per Diem, Variable - Non-Committed - This is a contracted position for an Echo Tech that can perform newborn and pediatric ECHOs when needed in NICU, pediatrics or the ED.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, the Echo Tech obtains ordered studies, conducts preliminary readings and processes reports and paperwork to ensure that assessment and care are appropriate to the age of patients served: adolescents, adult and geriatrics.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Vocational diploma from a cardiovascular program required.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer – certified or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – certified, upon hire, required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 weeks of hire preferred.
