Responsibilities

Incumbent is responsible for maintaining the everyday workflow of orders, ensuring medications are properly dispensed and acting as a medication consultant.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy required.
  • Over 6 months to 1 year of computer experience preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated analytical skills required.
  • Ability to make quality, independent decisions required.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Self-directed required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
  • Ability to deduce patient outcome by medication therapy preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Pharmacist, licensed upon hire, preferred.
