Responsibilities

The overnight Pharmacist is responsible for medication order verification, preparation and distribution throughout the facility. This includes:

• Preparing controlled drugs for oral/IV administration.
• Overseeing a technician who will assist with preparing non-controlled IV preparations.
• Possible chemotherapy preparations.
• Preparing/checking oral syringes.
• Checking/refilling the medications in anesthesia automated dispensing machines in the OR.

The successful candidate must work well with others and foster a culture of teamwork and support within and outside of the department.

The schedule is 7 nights on, 7 nights off, Wednesday through Tuesday, 8:30pm-7:30am. Full-time exempt, 77 hours per biweekly pay period.
