Responsibilities

Under overall direction of the PM&R Manager and clinical supervision of the Outpatient Lead Physical Therapist, the Staff Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients and administers physical therapy interventions in collaboration with the referring physician. The Physical Therapist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for and manage primarily adolescent, adult and geriatric age patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or related field if a more advanced degree in PT is held) required.
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. This requirement is waived for individuals who were licensed prior to the requirement of the Doctorate degree for licensure.
• Experience as a Physical Therapist required.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Physical Therapist – licensed, upon hire, required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 2 weeks of hire, required.
