Responsibilities

Under direction of the Executive Director of Orthopedics, the Practice Manager handles coordinating the daily operations and activities of the medical practice as assigned. The Practice Manager supervises staff as assigned and manages the overall operations at the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Center.
  • Recruits, hires and supervise staff as assigned. Assists staff in development of performance goals and objectives. Ensures that goals and objectives are fiscally sound.
  • Evaluates staff performance and handles disciplinary actions.
  • Provides data for financial and statistical purposes, including reviewing invoices and statements.
  • Ensures that clinic building, offices and equipment are maintained in a state of readiness for use by patients and staff.
  • Monitors appointment, patient flow, medical record systems and staff.
  • Manages all medical aspects of practice with direction from physicians.
  • Develops and maintains all employee scheduling for the office, including physician schedules.
  • Monitors patient satisfaction through Press Ganey reports and Google reviews, and works with providers to create strategies for improvement.
  • Looks for opportunities to grow current business.
     
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field highly preferred.
  • High school diploma and over 2 years of experience in a physician practice or related setting required.
