Responsibilities
The Consultation Liaison/Psychiatrist will be responsible for handling all inpatient psych consults, ED consults and 302/303 evaluations and hearings. This position will primarily be Monday through Friday, days. The Physician/Psychiatrist will coordinate and provide care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in accordance with current standards for inpatient behavioral health, crisis care in the ED setting, and the policies established by Grand View Hospital.
This full-time psychiatrist will work with a Behavioral Health advanced practice provider, the ED crisis care team and the multidisciplinary team at GVH.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Doctor of Psychiatric Medicine required.
