Radiologic Technologist - Urgent Care

Grand View Health is seeking motivated and friendly Radiology Technologists to join our urgent care centers full-time. Our employees are our front line for patient care, beginning the moment a patient walks through our door.
The Radiologic Technologist performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. Reviews the daily patient schedule in order to maximize efficiency and minimize patient waiting time.
Ensures proper identification and documentation of radiographic images.
Transfers patient safely to exam table and provides for patient safety by providing appropriate monitoring/visualization during exam.
Positions patient under X-ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and affixes lead shields to protect unaffected areas.
Follows established protocols for cleaning, preparing and operating radiological equipment.
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, 8:00am-8:00pm and every third weekend, 8:00am-5:00pm.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program required.
Associate's degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and over 1 to 3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred.
Radiological Technologist, certified upon hire, required.
