Responsibilities

The Recruiter supports the organization's mission to serve our patients and community by attracting the most talented caregivers for every position in the organization. The Recruiter provides staffing support for the overall hospital network by screening employment candidates (internal and external) to ensure that employment criteria are met by sourcing and presenting qualified candidates to departments and by developing excellent relationships with internal managers, external agencies and community members.

The job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Building a pipeline of passive and active candidates through networking, cold calling and various internet searches.
  • Compliance/credentialing/on-boarding — becoming familiar with requirements and processes.
  • Maintaining job postings for assigned departments in the applicant tracking system.
  • Proactively screening applicants, conducting interviews, working with and scheduling interviews with the hiring managers, doing references, making job offers and starting the on-boarding process.
  • Taking ownership for each hire and demonstrating commitment to finding the best talent.
     

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma/GED and over 1 to 3 years of staffing recruitment experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar field of study with 1 to 3 years of healthcare staffing recruitment experience preferred.
