Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages Coumadin for patients.
• Acts as liaison between ATC physicians and primary care physician offices.
• Ensures physicians have information necessary to provide exceptional care.
• Greets, escorts and interviews patients and prepares exam rooms for physician.
• Reviews daily incoming office and ancillary study reports, enters into the EHR for physician review, and follows up with office physician as necessary.
• Utilizes computers to gather information, review patient data and schedule appointments.
• Reviews medications and prescription requests, including notification of need for appointment.
