Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for a trained Cardiac Cath Lab RN

The Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients served. The Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Performs a variety of cardiac/peripheral technical, diagnostic, therapeutic and patient care tasks for patients with cardiac/peripheral disease using radiological sciences.
• Tasks performed include radiographic imaging, manipulation of equipment, use of intra-aortic balloon pump, insertion of basic cardiac pacemakers, generator changes, LINQ insertions, cardioversions, hemodynamic monitoring and recording, patient preparation and post-procedure care (procedure room and holding area), procedure room set-up and cleaning, and quality monitoring.
• May provide other support services dictated by patient needs, as a delivery team member. On-call hours required for 24/7 after-hours coverage for emergencies and urgent procedures with a response time of 30 minutes.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; on-call required every 3rd week
