Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse, RN, Med/Surg is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients served. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.

Unit Overview: The Medical/Surgical unit consists of 32 beds and primarily serves post-surgical and general medical patients. This unit is a fast-paced environment that sees a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity. All of our inpatient units are exceptionally collaborative among their staff and share a common philosophy around the value of teamwork, professionalism and excellent patient care.

Schedule: This is a Special Pay Weekend Program consisting of 4 out of 4 weekend night shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00pm-7:30am. Benefits are offered in this role.
