The Registered Nurse, RN, in Orthopaedics/Trauma is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing set forth by Grand View Health, ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice, the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses and the Society of Trauma Nurses.
Unit Overview: The Orthopaedic/Trauma unit consists of 20 beds and primarily serves orthopaedic and traumatic injuries. This unit is a fast-paced environment that sees a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity. All of our inpatient units are exceptionally collaborative among their staff and share a common philosophy around the value of teamwork, professionalism and excellent patient care.
Commitment: Work a minimum of 48 hours in 6 weeks with 24 hours being weekend time.
