Work a minimum of 48 hours per 6-week schedule with at least 24 hours being weekend shifts on home unit. Holidays: Work 16 hours of holiday time per year on home unit. The holiday time is at the discretion of the department manager, based on the unit need. For example, evening or night surrounding the holiday will count as the holiday commitment, but holiday pay (time and a half) is only paid on the specified holiday itself. Work 16 hours of holiday time: Work 1 A List Holiday – Thanksgiving or Christmas; Work 1 B List Holiday – Memorial Day, July 4th or Labor Day.
The Registered Nurse is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients served. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.
