Responsibilities
The Retail Store Manager oversees the Gift Shop and is responsible for the overall function of the shop, including purchasing, inventory control, recordkeeping, financial management and supervision of the paid and volunteer staff. The Retail Store Manager has responsibility for maintaining the goals and objectives of the fundraising activity and performing duties in support of all hospital policies.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma/GED and over 3 to 5 years of experience in the retail sales industry is required, including merchandise purchasing, product marketing and knowledge of vendor-client relationship and customer relations.
