Responsibilities
Under general supervision, the Teacher’s Aide assists the Head Teacher in the classroom caring for and instructing the children and planning and supervising activities as needed. The Teacher's Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment both indoors and outdoors, developing a better understanding of children, and growing professionally as a child care worker.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Expands knowledge of early childhood growth and development process by completing a total of 6 hours of DPW-approved, in-service training(s) each year preferred.
