Telecom/Network Analyst - Information Systems Technical Services

Grand View Health is a member of the Penn Cancer Network, an affiliate of Penn Medicine Orthopaedic Surgery, and an affiliate of the Penn Trauma Network, partnered with Penn Medicine to provide advanced neurological services, including tele-stroke and tele-neurology care.


Under general direction of the Director of Information Technology, the Telecom/Network Analyst coordinates PBX and communication applications in order to expedite the organization's communications. The essential functions of the Telecom/Network Analyst are:

Essential Functions:
  1. Installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing telephony and network systems.
  2. Coordinating and performing repair services in emergency situations as needed.
  3. Developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance program for all Grand View Health-owned telephone systems.
  4. Ordering and maintaining all Grand View Health wireless (cell phone, iPads, etc.) devices.
  5. Providing support in the configuration and installation of switches and routers.
  6. Providing support for installation of cabling (i.e., CAT5, fiber, telephone).
  7. Creating and maintaining proper documentation for tracking inventory and device configurations.
  8. Creating and maintaining proper documentation on the wide area network, including circuit IDs.
  9. Supporting various communication applications (i.e., Onpage, TigerText, etc.).
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm


  • Associate's degree and over 6 months to 1 year of experience required.

  • Demonstrated written communication skills required.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
  • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
  • Possesses strong technical aptitude required.
  • Competency in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems required.
