Ultrasound Sonographer, Part Time
Part Time, Days, Benefits-Eligible - Mon, Tues & Sat, 8-hour shifts. Holiday & call rotation based on department needs.

Responsibilities

Up to a $3,00 SIGN-ON BONUS for experienced candidates.

The Ultrasound Sonographer performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning for patient care. The Ultrasound Sonographer demonstrates competency in all skills necessary to care for all types of patients. The Ultrasound Sonographer performs all types of ultrasound procedures involving Emergency Room patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients.

Performs all aspects of general and vascular sonography.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 8-hour shifts. Saturday, holiday and on-call rotation based on department needs.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Vocational diploma from an ultrasound program required.
  • Associate's degree from an ultrasound program required.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Medical Sonographer, ARDMS-certified, upon hire, required within 90 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
  • RVT-certified within 1 year.
