Responsibilities

Responsible for software planning, configuration, designing, testing, implementing, supporting and maintaining all clinical applications systems. Responsible for the following teams: care management, ordering/e-prescribing, bedside medication administration, physician access and documentation, patient care and patient safety, quality management/risk management, emergency room, pharmacy, surgical services, laboratory information systems, imaging and therapeutic services.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or over 5 years to 7 years.
  • Application/technical role in information technology required.
  • Clinical degree in Medical Technology, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Pharmacy, etc., preferred.
  • Over 3 years to 5 years of experience with computer information systems and software applications, providing support to users in health information technology, required.
  • Over 1 year to 3 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience with MEDITECH version 6x preferred.
  • Experience with inter- and intra-departmental communications preferred.
  • Proven success as a key contributor to an organization-wide software implementation project required.
