Responsibilities

The Hospice Biller and Medical Records shows competency in all aspects of day-to-day office functioning in hospice. Acts as a liaison between patient/family, hospital personnel and staff. Supports all hospice staff. Has ability to schedule patients using computer software and performs intake and medical records tasks as assigned. Incumbent answers phones and processes confidential information. Assists with claim submission and month-end close for billing. Must be highly organized and self-directed with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Over 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer service role required.
