Responsibilities

Under general direction, the Technologist Assistant assists staff technologist by transporting patients utilizing proper infection control and safety practices, scheduling examinations and other related duties as assigned. The Technologist Assistant demonstrates competent knowledge and skills to ensure that the assessment of care is appropriate to the age of the patients served: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Current enrollment in a radiology tech program preferred.
