The Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures Technologist performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures Technologist must be competent to perform multiple types of imaging, including fluoro and X-ray, involving Emergency Room Patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients.

Demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served.

High familiarity with all interventional procedures, including ultrasound and CAT scan-guided studies.

Good technical and communication skills required.

The Special Procedures Tech must have the ability to work with all levels from staff to physicians.

Ability to triage quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
Schedule: Three 7.5-hour shifts Monday–Friday. Varied start times between 7:00am and 9:00am. On-call is every third.
