Responsibilities
Grand View Health is seeking an energetic, patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our growing Imaging department. Apply for immediate consideration!The MRI Technologist performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The MRI technologist demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served. Competent to perform multiple types of imaging, including fluoro, X-ray, mammography and DEXA, involving Emergency Room patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients. Good technical and communication skills required. Ability to work with all levels from staff to physicians. Ability to triage quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, Saturday day shift rotation, holiday and on-call rotation.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program required.
- Associate's degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and over 1 to 3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- MRI Tech, certified upon hire, required.
- BLS-certified within two weeks of hire, training provided by Grand View.
