Responsibilities
The Hospital Medicine "Nocturnist" is responsible to the Hospitalist medical director. The physician coordinates and provides care to adult and geriatric patients in accordance with current standards in the practice of hospital medicine and in the policies established by Grand View Hospital.
This position is for an independent group, CritAcuity, that has an exclusive contract to manage the hospital medicine service line at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. This physician will be employed by CritAcuity, treating and caring for Grand View Hospital admitted patients.
The hours will consist of 7pm until 7am with a 7 day on/7 day off schedule.
In 2023, Grand View Health opened a state-of-the-art pavillion with private hospital rooms, a new ED with Trauma Bay, 10 new surgical suites and a new ICU adjacent to the well-established hospital. There are approximately 200 mostly private patient beds. CHOP pediatricians care for all newborns, infants, children and teenagers admitted.
GVH is also an affilate of Penn Medicine, partnering in such service lines as trauma, neurology, oncology, etc. Grand View is a level II trauma center.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Doctor of Medicine required: MD, DO.

Internal medicine or family medicine.
