Full Time, Days - Typically Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Weekends/holidays, 8am-7pm. Triage shift ranges noon-8pm.

The Advanced Practice Practitioner is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health of Grand View Health's patients by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician. The Advanced Practice Practitioner will assess patient health by assessing patients; performing physical examinations; and obtaining, updating and studying medical histories. Responsibilities may include:
  • Ordering the following in order to evaluate, diagnose and treat the adult or geriatric patient: medications, diagnostic tests, referrals and consultations, measurements, monitoring, procedures and treatments.
  • Performing interview health history from sources that may include adult patients, geriatric patients or families, and records requisitioned from Grand View Health or other healthcare providers or facilities.
  • Performing physical exams.
  • Interpreting data from the history, physical exam and diagnostic tests to identify actual or potential patient problems and needs.
  • Developing and implementing plan of care for the patient.
  • Monitoring responses to care plan and adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Collaborating with patient's physicians regarding plan of care.
  • Providing formal and informal education to other healthcare providers as necessary or requested.
  • Discussing advanced care planning with patients and families as appropriate.


  • Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or certified as a Physician Assistant required.
