Painter - Plant Operations
Full Time, Days - Regularly scheduled 8am until 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Other hours as needed for accessing work areas.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, the Painter performs a variety of maintenance duties throughout the hospital complex and off-site buildings. The General Maintenance Mechanic tasks include minor and major equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, assisting other trades and minor electrical. The Painter also is assigned other duties such as HVAC, plumbing, painting and carpentry installations and repairs.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Vocational diploma with knowledge in the fundamentals of the mechanical systems, appliance repair, electricity, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry preferred.
  • Over 3 to 5 years of applicable work experience in institutional or industrial maintenance operations preferred.
