Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Department Manager, Nursing Supervisor and/or RN, the Quality Assistant performs chart audits, answers the telephone and communicates information to the appropriate individuals and areas. The Quality Assistant will need telephone etiquette, organizational skills, ability to multitask and customer service skills. The Quality Assistant should have reporting skills, communication abilities and familiarity with medical terms.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- High school diploma/GED required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills required.
- Effective interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work as part of a team required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Ability to maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality required.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
