Responsibilities

Grand View is looking for a Radiologic Technologist, Urgent Care to join our urgent care centers. The Radiologic Technologist, Urgent Care performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The ideal candidate demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served and must be competent to perform multiple types of Imaging. Grow your career with us! Newly certified? Essential Functions:

Reviews the daily patient schedule in order to maximize efficiency and minimize patient waiting time.
Ensures proper identification and documentation of radiographic images.
Transfers patient safely to exam table and provides for patient safety by providing appropriate monitoring/visualization during exam.
Positions patient under X-ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and affixes lead shields to protect unaffected areas.
Follows established protocols for cleaning, preparing and operating radiological equipment.

Schedule: One day a week and every third weekend.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Vocational diploma from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program required.
Associate's degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and over 1 to 3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Radiologic Technologist, certified upon hire, required.
