Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse, RN, in Maternity is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for Maternity patients served. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.

Schedule: Per Diem, evenings, 48 hours per 6-week schedule.
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Nursing diploma minimum requirement.
  • 1 year of experience in Maternity required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Registered Nurse in PA – licensed, upon hire, required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) within 6 months of hire required.
