The Registered Nurse, RN, NICU is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care for NICU patients served. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse, RN practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.
Equipped with the latest technology, Grand View Health’s six-bed Level II NICU is equipped to care for babies born as early as 32 weeks gestation or babies with unexpected medical complications, close to home. Staffed by physicians from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the NICU team collaborates to ensure the patients receives the very best care.
